ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Award Winning Author
I’m a traveler, a storyteller, and someone who has never been afraid to take risks. I bought a one-way ticket to Madrid, learned Spanish, and married a Frenchman. My time at UC Berkeley, especially studying under Albert Johnson, Berkeley’s first Black English professor, opened my eyes to the power of film and humor in challenging stereotypes. After five years in Morocco, I traded my French couture for hippie threads and embraced a whole new way of life back in the U.S.
One of my biggest adventures was producing “Touch of the Devil” with cinematographer Max Margolin, nothing pushed me more or kept me so present in that moment. My novels are filled with strong women who stand up, fight back, and never let their friends down. Life is too short for regrets, so live boldly, speak your truth, and when in doubt, adopt a fluffy companion – cats and dogs make everything better!
